Mike Marks

Producer

Mike Marks is a seasoned Producer with an impressive portfolio that includes a variety of live-action narratives and animated projects, spanning several international co-productions. Among his notable achievements is Elenita Elena Elaine, which received a nomination for Best Performance at the Oscar-qualifying Singapore International Film Festival.

In addition to his production work, Mike is the founder of the Membrana Film Festival, showcasing innovative films from around the globe. He honed his skills in Production Management at a film School in Sitges, Spain. Complementing his creative expertise, Mike also holds a Law Degree and brings 17 years of experience as an IT Project Manager to the table.

Denny Rae

 

Writer/Director

Denny Rae has immersed herself in the arts since the tender age of four. Growing up with a father who is a trained, award-winning actor turned writer and director, it's no surprise that Denny chose to follow in his footsteps. She has worked on numerous sets, gaining recognition for her remarkable performance in "House of Queens," for which she received a nomination as Best Lead Actress at the London International Film Festival.

In addition to her acting, Denny founded Modern Witch Productions, a name inspired by her clothing line, Modern Witch Boutique. Her creative vision spans across television, film, and fashion. Drawing inspiration from real-life experiences, authentic relationships, and the poignant stories that often unfold, Denny’s first feature film which she will star in as the Kit, "Love Me Toxic," has fostered a talented team of creatives, uniting to craft something truly magical.

 

Andrew Walker

Andrew is a UK-based cinematographer with international experience, ranging from multimillion-pound productions to intimate character-driven projects. Storytelling lies at the core of his work, and he approaches each shoot with a collaborative, easygoing attitude, free of ego—making him an ideal fit for our first feature, Love Me Toxic. Andrew is known for his distinctive, high-quality visuals and is dedicated to continuously pushing his artistic boundaries with every project.

His bold choices in the debut feature 42, combined with a more character-driven style in Mommy, I Don’t Want To Do It, and the action-packed sequences of Barren, showcase his versatile talent. Andrew’s portfolio also includes a variety of award-winning short films.
 
 

 

Travis Phillips

Love Me Toxic's lead- Jimmy

Travis is a skilled Northern actor, having honed his craft through the BA (Hons) Acting course at LAMDA. After graduating, he took on remarkable roles, including Andy in Lightfalls and Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing. Travis's performances have captivated audiences, showcasing his talent in popular shows like BBC's EastEnders and ITV's Grace.

With an innate ability to embody the quintessential Northern "jack the lad" while exuding a delicate charm, Travis brings a vibrant energy to the portrayal of Jimmy.
